WS-Plast Thick Layer Coating M 4200 is a VC-copolymer, which due to its special composition, adheres directly to zinc and aluminium surfaces without the need of pretreatment. Light and weather resistant pigments ensure strong permanent protection even in aggressive atmospheres.

WS-Plast Thick Layer Coating M 4200 is suitable, for example, for painting hot galvanized fences, gates, balcony railings, lamps, rain gutters, seel structures as well as non-anodized aluminium components, such as canopies, flagpoles, hall gates, facade facings.

WS-Plast Thick Layer Coating M 4200 can be applied directly on zinc, aluminium or rigid PVC without special pretreatment. The wet film thickness should be at least 100 µm (dry film thickness approx. 50 – 80 µm). The surface must be clean, dry, and free of grease and dust. For more detailed information, see EN ISO 12944 Part 4. Non-galvanized steel that is used outdoors must be thoroughly derusted and dust must be removed; then the surface shall be painted once or twice with our special WS primer M 4022, where the corrosion protection depends on the quality of derusting selected. Commercial primers on alkyd-resin basis are not suitable. Indoors, no special corrosion protection primer is required.

WS-Zink has excellent corrosion resistance against atmospheric influences. The superior protection is based on the electrochemical behaviour of the metallic zinc dust, which oxidizes first, due to its less noble structure as compared to iron, and therefore effectively protects the iron structure below it. This is so-called cathodic corrosion protection prevents rust formation under the coating. The aluminum pigmentation ensures a zinc-type appearance of the coating in connection with a high surface density of the dry film. 

Dust free: approx. 15 minutes, touch-dry:approx. 45 min. dry through: approx. 2-3 days.

WS-Zink 108 provides a durable, long therm rust protection for all ferrous metals even in industrial, aggressiv atmosphere. WS-Zink 108 imparts very good adhesion, suitiable for overcoating with a wide range of top-coats.

WS-Zink 108 is particulary designed for spot-repairs on scratched- damaged hot-galvanized parts- constructiones. WS-Zink 108 can also be used in a wide variety of industrial application, like car-bodys, air-condtions, refrigirations, pipes a.s.o.

Dust free: approx. 10 minutes, touch-dry:approx. 30 min. dry through: approx. 2-3 days.

PUR 900

A 6005

WS-Zink A 6005 is a versatile corrosion-protective primer, which has a cathodic protection due to the high percentage of zinc dust. The product is produced according to the requirements of TL/TP Kor, page 87, substance no. 687.03. The dried coating is very weather and water proof and has a high mechanical resistance.

WS-Zink A 6005 can especially be used for heavy corrosion protection like bridges, lamp posts, pipes, storage tanks, steel constructions and wagons. Optimal corrosion protection is reached together with black mica intermediate coat and a weather resistant final coating on acrylate basis.

80/81 – pasta

Primer

WS-Haftgrund M 4021 is a fast drying thick-layer primer for the protection against corrosion on the base of epoxide-ester. Due to epoxide-estercombination as inhibitor for the protection against corrosion, WS-Haftgrund M 4021 has a passivating effect and has excellent properties for the protection against corrosion. The primer is very scratch-proof, elastic and can be recoated with WS-Plast Dickschicht M 4200 and other one-pack laquers. In case of doubt it is recommended to make a test coat.

WS-Haftgrund M 4021 can be used on all steel, iron and cast parts interior and exterior. WS-Haftgrund M 4021 is specially for the use of WS-Plast Dickschicht M 4200 outdoors on not galvanized surfaces. The product is suitable for all applications within steel construction, plant construction, container construction etc. and is resistant to cold and tropicalized. It is recommended to use WS-Zwischenanstrich M 4021 EG as filling intermediate coat as system against corrosion.
